If you are seeking peace and quiet, together with rural tranquility
then Elim House B&B is the perfect retreat open all year
round. Set centrally on Anglesey within beautiful countryside makes
Elim House the perfect location to explore all that Anglesey and
its surrounding areas have to offer. Elim House is within easy reach
of Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Heritage Coastline and award
winning beaches.
Way marked cycle and walking routes such as ‘The Mill Trail’ and ‘Nico’ cycle
circuit are right on the doorstep of Elim House. Llyn Alaw, the
largest freshwater lake on Anglesey is
only minutes drive away and has an abundance of flora and
fauna making it a wildlife and
birdwatchers paradise, the lake is home to many types of birds such
as great crested grebe, wildfowl, heron, mute swan, greylag goose,
Canada goose, tern and lesser whitethroat to name but a few, one
can also find bird hides around the lake for your comfort. Being
annually stocked with many fish such as rainbow and brown trout also
makes the lake a fisherman’s delight. The lake has a visitor
center, parking facilities and boat hire service. Elim
House is fortunate to be located within minutes walk of historic Llynon
windmill, the only working windmill to survive in Wales today and
Melin Howell watermill the only watermill to be found on Anglesey
today.
Snowdonia.
National Park, which on clear days can be seen from Elim, is only
thirty minutes or so drive away where stunning mountain
vistas, peaks and valleys can be seen and explored. For those of
you who want to explore further a field, then the port of Holyhead
is only 15 to 20 minutes drive away and offers daily sea crossings
to Dublin, Ireland.
